Shipping policy

UK tracked delivery costs £7 for orders below £100. Orders of £100 or more qualify for free UK tracked delivery. The threshold is based on the order value after discounts, excluding delivery charges. No delivery discount code is required. Any change to the order or discount can change eligibility.

This Shipping Policy explains how Thistle BioLabs processes, packs, dispatches and delivers UK orders. Products are supplied strictly for laboratory research and educational analysis only.

DELIVERY AREA

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. International delivery is not currently available.

ORDER PROCESSING AND DISPATCH

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. We aim to dispatch eligible in-stock orders on the same working day or the next working day after payment has been received and any required order checks are complete. Orders placed and approved by 2pm, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same working day; later orders are normally dispatched the next working day. This is a dispatch aim, not a guaranteed delivery time.

We will contact you if an item is unavailable, enquiry-only or requires confirmation before dispatch.

DELIVERY SERVICES AND COSTS

Available Royal Mail services, delivery aims and prices are shown at checkout before an order is placed. The options shown at checkout are the current options for that order and delivery address. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless the selected service is expressly described as guaranteed.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Orders are packed discreetly and with protective materials appropriate to the order. Transit packaging is not intended for long-term storage. Review the product label and any available batch documentation on receipt, and move products promptly to suitable storage conditions.

TRACKING

Where tracking is included, details are sent to the contact information provided at checkout after dispatch. Carrier tracking can take time to update after a parcel enters the delivery network.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If an order is returned because the address was incorrect or incomplete, or because delivery or collection was not completed, an additional delivery charge may apply before it is resent.

DELAYED OR LOST PARCELS

If tracking has not updated or a parcel appears delayed, contact us with your order number and tracking reference. We may need to complete the carrier's investigation process before confirming the available resolution. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

DAMAGED, MISSING OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item is damaged, missing or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product, packaging and delivery label where relevant. Keep the packaging and contents until the issue has been reviewed.

ENQUIRY-ONLY PRODUCTS

Products marked enquiry-only, available on request, coming soon or out of stock may require confirmation of availability, batch documentation, dispatch timing or price before supply.

RESEARCH-USE-ONLY SUPPLY

All products are supplied strictly for laboratory research and educational analysis only. They are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, treatment, diagnosis, prevention, cosmetic use, personal use or any form of administration. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe a product may be used for an unsuitable, unsafe, unlawful or non-research purpose.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Cancellations, returns, refunds and delivery problems are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable UK consumer law. Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits your statutory rights.
